30 ways to LOVE yourself!

Many people speak about "self-love", figure out yourself, love yourself before you start anything else... and on and on it goes. Just only loving someone else isn't so easy..

However you can just love somebody else if you can love yourself at first! So I decided to search some tips for the ones that need to make sure that you as a person are

To help you gain more perspective and know where to start your journey of self-love, here are 30 truths to remember:

1. Stop comparing yourself to others . People achieve success and fail at different rates .

2. You're not as fat as you think!! Besides, your body fat percentage isn't the thing what makes you a quality human being.

3. Exercise! Because it 's good for your body and soul. Appreciate your body and all the things it can do. Stop complaining about every less pretty part, because you will never achieve perfection.

4. Find something where you never had looked before. Maybe you are really amazing at working with kids and you just do not know it yet. (I just went working in an animation team for kids 4 - 12 years, while I didn't ever worked with kids before!!).

5 . Spend more time with your girlfriends or guy friends. Relationships may come and go, but friends are FOREVER - cherish that!

6. Spend time alone. It's okay if you want to stay home on a Friday or Saturday night. Just relax, pick a movie and chill on the couch with a big mug of ice creams or some chocolates. Every busy week has to end with a relaxing evening!

7. Read that book you've been meaning to read. In fact, read as many books as possible!! Reading expands the imagination and sharpens the mind. It also gives your mind some rest.

8. Go outside. Soak up the sun. Look around you, sniff some fresh air and get into a new adventure!

9. Take a lot of pictures. (I LOVE this one!) Take way too many and do not forget to print them. Do not only let them save in your phone memory, but really do something with it. Maybe it's a good idea to print some photo's on a card and send it to a good friend or person you want to spoil a little.

10. Let go of the past. Forgive the people who did hurt you so you can move on. Carrying around anger isn't good for anyone.

11. Reunite with old friends from high school or college. Let go of friendships that aren't so important anymore. People grow apart, it's natural and it's okay.. I know how hard it is!!

12. Call your friends and family more often. Do not just follow them on social media. (I know this is easy..) Remember when we used to have to call or meet up with people to hear their voices and see + feel their emotions? That experience is so much richer!!

13. Resolve the issues you might have with your family. Tell them you love them. Show up to family events once in a while.

14. Take vitamins, because healthy is always good. Without vitamins you will be more lazy and your energy-level will be lower that what's possible.

15. Treat yourself to do something you really want. Whether it's a fancy designer bag or a plane ticket to your dream-destination. You do not only work for money you have to spend to food and your house. Just treat yourself once in a while. You only live once!

16. Care about your appearance. If you look good (for yourself), you will feel great when you leave the house. But, if you feel like wearing sweatpants and your hair in a bun to the grocery store once in a while, go f * cking do it! What does it cares?!

17. Watch the movie or serie you are dying to see! Or maybe 2!

18. Be active. Regularly exercising helps to your level of happiness and will help you feel better about yourself.

19. Search for a hobby. You can just buy some creative stuff and just make something. Or go outside and look for new things. Maybe you like to paint or to photograph. Just expand yourself.

20. Save up money and travel somewhere new.

21 . Laugh at yourself. If you fall down over your own feet or realize you are wearing your shirt inside out, do not worry about it and make it a joke.

22. Do karaoke whahaa! Do it sober, drunk (better!!) and just sing. I've heard that the more you sing, the happier and healthier it will make you.

23. Eat less processed food. If you actually knew what was in that sh * t , you would be disgusted. Watch the documentary " Food Inc. . " But, if you want to have fries, with extra, extra mayonaise sometimes, just do it. (only not often)

24. Dance!! Good, choreographed or just weird.. Make up a dance routine with your friends like you did when you were 12. Stop caring about what you look like. Have fun and enjoy it to the fullest.

25 . Smile, smile, SMILE! The more you smile, the happier you will feel. It makes others happier too - trust me. 'Every smile you send, you will get back twice!'

26. Do favors and do not expect anything in return. It isn't necessary. 

27. Guard your heart, but be open. Do not let people take advantage of you.

28. Be less judgmental. "Be kind. For everyone you meet, you can fight" You never know what kind of person somebody really is.

29 . Look up at the sky, the birds, the trees. Look at the stars, as they're pretty incredible too. The world is really a kind of miracle. Just think about that..

30. You can NEVER please everyone. Not everyone will like you (SHIT I KNOW!). You will not like everyone you meet. (That's impossible) But that's perfectly fine also.

Just love yourself and you can love e-ve-ry little thing in the world!
